About Warra Hotel

Originally established by Richard Best in 1879, the Warra Hotel was built into the two-storey hotel evident today in 1901 by Theo and Eliza Burghardt. This grand hotel is a beautiful example of architecture commonly known as the Queenslander. True country hospitality and an authentic experience await you here. Warra Hotel is located in the rural village of Warra (population 80), three hours drive west of Brisbane. With great value camping and caravan sites for self-contained travellers, the Warra Hotel provides the perfect escape to unwind, catch up or celebrate. The back deck with outdoor bar transforms into a dance floor and provides the perfect venue for birthdays, weddings or social get-togethers. Enjoy an icy cold beer or sample the special collection of tasty rums. Heading out for the weekend, Friday night barbecue is always a great social night! Meals are generally available on specified days however this may vary. Please check with the Hotel prior to visiting. Check out the Facebook page for special fun nights when they offer a Pig on the Spit.
