About Training For Trips

TFT is the Gold Coast's most globally diverse adventure travel business. In typical adventurous fashion, they applied a pioneering approach to adventure travel back in the late 90’s and began offering incredible, fully guided, outdoor adventures in Japan to just a small number of clients that grew into them having delivered trips on 4 continents in all styles imaginable - kayak, trekking, trail running, cycling and a mix of these and more. Fast forward nearly 25 years and Queensland is at the heart of everything they do from their Gold Coast base. They grew to meet their clients' desire for diverse adventures, and many have travelled with them over and over again. The essence is their purpose - to inspire clients through unique world-first programs and lead them to enjoy life-changing experiences. That means something different to everyone they meet, which in turn inspires them to personalise the adventures and make them individually special. They’ve grown a lot, but they’re still small and the opposite of a corporate travel company. The HQ is their home and the team are all hands on. No offices and no boardroom - most likely they are researching outdoors and enjoying in ample hiking, biking, kayaking, climbing and swimming the Gold Coast offers. They’re driven by a desire to share their own passion for adventure with guests.
