Built in 1868, the beautifully restored interior showcases Queensland's history, as shaped by the governments and laws that have been made in the Parliament. The Queensland Parliament remains the only state parliament in Australia without an Upper House. Walk inside and wonder at the lush red and gold leaf decoration and the grand staircase.
