About North Lakes Town Park
On the banks of beautiful Lake Eden, North Lakes Town Park offers fun for all. There are three playgrounds suitable for children of all ages including two small in-ground trampolines, swings, climbing frames, slides, tunnels and more. As the main feature, Lake Eden is a man-made lake with a two-kilometre paved pathway making it a perfect spot for running or walking. There is signage posted at regular intervals, so you can keep track of how far you have run. It is the spot for the popular Saturday mornings Park Run or enjoy rhe outdoor fitness equipment around the lake. The park's highlight is the wildlife that call it home. Eels, turtles, water dragons, swans, ducks and more can be spotted playing in the lake's waters. There are large shady trees so you may even spot a possum, koala or snake! The park has plenty of shelters, picnic tables, barbecues and space for small gatherings. Accessible parking spaces are located near the North Lakes Hotel.
