About Man and Wife Rocks Dive Site
There are many wonderful dive sites found around the Keppel Islands off Yeppoon, with one of the most popular sites being Man and Wife Rocks. These two rocky outcrops can be enjoyed by divers of any experience level, as there are shallow rocky reefs and walls dropping to 18 metres. Man and Wife Rocks suit a drift dive because the current screams through between the two sets of rocks as the tide flows in or out. Beautiful coral gardens are a feature of this dive site, with a good variety of soft and hard corals on display. Sheltering amongst these corals are numerous reef fish, nudibranchs, octopus, sea stars, moray eels and also sea snakes. Exploring the rocky reef at Man and Wife Rocks divers are also likely to find crayfish, wobbegongs and usually a few turtles.
