Girraween, Bald Rock and Boonoo Boonoo National Parks are a short drive away, and Storm King Dam is five minutes to the North. Crimson rosellas, king parrots, yellow-tailed black cockatoos, rose robins, echidnas and numerous wallabies and wallaroos are frequent visitors.
