A perfect spot to stay over for the Mt. Maroon climb, this 64 hectare property is surrounded by National Park. The local area has a tourism focus with plenty of opportunities to explore the Scenic Rim. Lake Moogara and Maroon Dam are not far away for jet skis, kayaking and swimming. If you are not up for Mt Maroon climb which could take up to 3 to 5 hours, there is always walks around the area that are less challenging. They are family friendly and easy terrain to set up for first time campers. Wake up to beautiful views and serenity. Sorry, no dogs are allowed as they have koalas and are surrounded by National Parks Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place. Check on the day, it is usually fine to cook with contained cookers during a fire ban. BYO gas BBQ. Please note that there are no showers or potable (drinkable) water on our property, you will need to bring your own. Bring what you need and take it away. Leave no trace.
