About Kershaw Gardens Free Campground
Nestled within the picturesque parklands of the Kershaw Gardens, Rockhampton Regional Council provides a free 48 hour campground. Entrance to the site is located on High Street, via the roundabout. is a free 48 hour campground. The campgrounds is ideal for travellers who are fully self-contained. The grounds can take a maximum of 35 self-contained campers on site. Campers are permitted to stay a maximum of two night (48 hours). Tents are not permitted. Pets are permitted, but must be under control and on a leash at all times. While there is no dump point on site, the nearest dump point is available at the Explore Rockhampton Visitor Information Centre and has potable and water available. Access to the dump point is via Ferguson Street.
