About Inglewood Pub Murals

Artist: James Ellis Royal Hotel The 28-metre mural on the wall of the Royal Hotel is based on a photograph of the pub from 1910, when it was located across the river. The artwork captures not only a piece of Inglewood's history, but also the attention of most visitors. Old Commercial Hotel The Old Commercial Hotel mural depicts a crop of tobacco and several tobacco growers in the artist's signature style. The mural highlights the importance of growing tobacco to the people of Inglewood, Texas and Yelarbon during the 1950s and '60s. Both are a great reason to stop and admire the artwork!
