About Herveys Range Heritage Tea Rooms
The award-winning Herveys Range Heritage Tea Rooms sits atop Hervey Range, a scenic 25-minute drive from the western outskirts of Townsville. Be sure to stop at Piper's Lookout to enjoy the expansive views of the greater Townsville region. The tea rooms were established in the former Eureka Hotel (C1865), one of only a few timber slab, sided inns left standing in Australia. The tea rooms offer delicious food (breakfast, lunch and sweets) and great tea and coffee, within the heritage-listed building or in the peaceful garden surroundings. The scones and steak sandwiches are favourites with our customers. A walking track takes visitors through native bushland. The gift shop is stocked with local crafts and produce. Bookings are highly recommended on any day. Dogs welcome. Popular wedding venue, with intimate bush ceremony sites and rustic reception area.
