About Goondiwindi's Big Cod
Artist: Natureworks Don't let this big one get away! This whopping 6.5m tall fibreglass Murray Cod was constructed in celebration of the Lion Club's 50th anniversary in 2015. The design idea was brought to life by Lions Club Member, Peter Smith, who was inspired by a statue he saw on a trip to New Zealand a few years prior. Located at Redmond Park, a great rest stop, with a dump point, toilets and park area. Driver Reviver also operates during peak periods from this site.
