About Glenlyon Dam Holiday Cottage
Historic Cottage on the reaches of Glenlyon Dam is set on 150 acres of undulating traprock country. Swimming, fishing and kayaking are only a 2 minute walk from the cottage, they also have a boat ramp. It is a children's paradise with seven breeds of sheep, some very rare, alpacas, milking goats, rare breed pigs, shorthorn cows and heritage poultry. Wildlife include emu, deer, echidna, wallabies, goannas. Go fishing, stargazing and toast marshmallows on the campfire at night. Well behaved pets are welcome. See some amazing birdlife and wildflowers. There are lovely picnic spots up the top of property with 360 degree views. Watch lambs frolicking in the paddock from the front verandah of the cottage. The cottage has two bedrooms both with sliding doors onto a big north facing veranda. Enjoy their fresh eggs and vegetables in season.
