About Camp Creek Retreat
Camp Creek Retreat is located in Queensland, just north of the NSW border, in the Running Creek area of the 'Scenic Rim'. The nearby National Park is Mt Chinghee, which is part of the Shield Volcano Group of the World Heritage Site Gondwana Rainforests of Australia. They have grassed valleys and forested hills, which provide the perfect setting for bush walking, bird watching, star gazing, or just relaxing. Three of the camp sites are well separated and not visible to each other. If it's seclusion and privacy you're after, 'The Washout', 'Fig Tree' and 'Ridge Top' would be perfect for you. While 'The Old Hut, and 'The Reserve' are over 200mt apart. Guests must have their own toilet/shower facilities and take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. The sites are accessible for 4WD only. Get back to nature and explore. Many native animals have been spotted on the property wallabies, possums, echidnas, goannas, bandicoots, dingos, and koalas as well as a large variety of birds. and frogs.
