About Bunjurgen Estate Vineyard
Bunjurgen Estate Vineyard produces award-winning Rose styles made solely from grapes grown on the property, a unique 2022 Chambourcin Rose, a lightly weighted 2022 Shiraz medium red, a totally unwooded 2023 Ruby Fortified, and a 15-year barrel-aged 2010 Tawny Fortified selected by Government House, Queensland for their functions. Wine tastings are conducted in a very relaxed and informal manner outdoors under a jacaranda tree in fine weather: in inclement weather either the house verandah or the cellar door tasting area which is undercover. Four picnic areas are provided, and visitors are welcome to bring their own food and enjoy the facilities, views and peace. There is a walking track through the vineyard and the range of natural trees and dams with a developing dry rain forest on the 40-hectare property which is home to a variety of birds. The property has superb views of the Dividing Range, Mount French and other prominent landmarks. Weddings and functions are hosted at the Vineyard at selected times. The vineyard has established a strong reputation for hospitality, quality and generosity of spirit and is a very pleasant spot to linger and relax. Helicopter wine tours operate in Bunjurgen Estate and several tour companies run tours as well.
