Situated at Burrum Heads, Dophin Waters is a residential area built around a natural waterway and small forested area which is a magnet for various bird species and a drawcard for local and visiting bird watchers. Beach Stone Curlew, Shining Flycatcher, Tawny Frogmouth, and many other interesting birds are possible to spot here. The bird-watching area is off Ivor Drive in Burrum Heads which has on one side a small water way with grassed area around a section, while on the opposite side of the road is a pathway leading for 750 metres around a copse of natural bushland.
