About Bayview Conservation Area
Bayview Conservation Area in Redlands Coast is an award-winning outdoor recreation reserve. At almost 1000 hectares of open forest, Melaleuca wetlands and more, the reserve offers the perfect setting for exhilarating outdoor adventures, including mountain biking, horse riding, trail running and nature walks in an inspiring bushland setting. Due to this diversity, the reserve also provides a home to iconic Redlands Coast fauna such as owls, koalas, goannas, glossy black-cockatoos, and wallabies. Visit the park to enjoy around 60 kilometres of dedicated mountain bike tracks rated from easy to challenging to suit every skill level or take part in regular MTB events and competitions. Bayview is the perfect place for an inspiring ride. Bring your horse, saddle up and wind your way along an extensive network of horse-riding trails, making the most of the reserve amenities including horse hitching stations and drinking troughs. Do you prefer your outdoor adventures on two feet? The reserve also offers shared trails perfect for trail runners, bushwalkers, and birdwatchers. Open daily, the main German Church Road entry gate to the internal parking area and day use area facilities is open from 6am to 10pm. Please ensure your vehicles are outside the gate shuts.
