With four wharves in total, Auckland Point is a part of the indispensable series of wharves that make up the Gladstone Ports Corporation. The Port of Gladstone handles a variety of cargoes associated with the Gladstone Region. The major export commodity is coal and accounts for approximately 70 per cent of total port export trade.
